Kailun is a predoctoral student in the Mowery Lab. She grew up near West Lake in Hangzhou, China. She completed her undergraduate studies in biology and public health at Sorbonne University, where she also earned a Master’s degree in therapeutic targets and molecules. In 2023, she moved to the United States and completed her master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Chi Van Dang at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests lie in uncovering molecular mechanisms that can be translated into clinical therapies for cancer patients. Outside the lab, she enjoys baking, photography and treaveling.
